[social_warfare] Brookline have been hiring out their great fleet of narrowboats for many years and whilst they already had a website, it was aged and wasn’t doing the company justice or offering the information to customers that was required. They asked us to build a new website for them that would be:
- Mobile responsive – perfect for customers that are already out on the narrowboats and need to access the website for vital information and contact details.
- Easy to update themselves – to keep photos and information up to date and be able to quickly post special offers or last minute deals.
- Tie in with their listings with Hoeseasons to allow website customers to make bookings online.
Using the WordPress CMS the website is secure, easy to update from anywhere (including mobile devices) and backups to the cloud every night so any chance of the website being down is minimised. We also revisited and design of the logo to be more contemporary and helped transfer the hosting of the website from the current provider who had emigrated to New Zealand.
