Pierre-Louis Ferrer gives us a new perspective of the most beautiful French landscapes through his photographs taken in infrared. This beautiful campaign is immersed in a brilliant yellow that gives them an even more magical and bewitching air.
Notes from Pierre:
This series presents different landscapes typical of this region: the gardens of Eyrignac and Marqueyssac, the banks of the Dordogne, Périgueux and Brantome. The golden rendering given to the vegetation, mentioned in the title of the series, is a nod to the names “Périgord vert” and “Périgord noir”. It allows a new vision of this region. The realization of this series took place in August 2016, during a two-week stay in the Dordogne with part of the collective Lum’IR . This trip dedicated to the practice of infrared photography was an opportunity to discover the rich heritage of the region. The yellow rendering varies according to the time of day and the type of vegetation photographed.
